Sunday School Rally Day Set For September 12th!!!

            Look for the post cards!  Rally Day is almost here!  It is hard to believe that CLC will be kicking off another Sunday School year with its traditional Rally Day celebration.  Come join the fun as we begin Sunday School on September 12th with fun activities beginning at 10:05 a.m., followed by Family Worship at 11:15 a.m.  Of course, our traditional hamburger and hot dog cookout at 12 noon will conclude the festivities.
            This is a splendid opportunity for students to meet their teachers and to discover what is new for the fall, church year.  We will begin a new course of study called SPARKS that promises to enrich our learning about Christ and to help us grow in a life of faith and grace.
            Please note that our high school class will not begin until September 19th because many of our high school students will be at the New England Synod Youth Retreat at Hammonansett State Park in Connecticut.
            As always, the Christian Education Committee will provide the hamburgers, hot dogs, and beverages.  We do need side dishes and desserts.  If your last name begins with A through M, bring a side dish, if N through Z, a dessert.  This works for Lutheran Airways, hopefully it will work for us.
